1907: WILLIS BOUCHEY, who played an official in "Them!" is born in
Michigan.

1910: IAN BATCHELOR, who played a strongman in "Mighty Joe Young", is
born in Petaluma, Calif.

1911: HAROLD S. CONWAY is born in Curwensville, Penn. The gaijin actor
appeared as Dr. DeGracia in "The Mysterians", Dr. Immerman in "Battle
in Outer Space", the Washington broadcast station chief in “Invasion
of the Neptune Men”, the Rolisican ambassador in "Mothra", a base
commander "The Last War", a scientist in the sub in "King Kong vs.
Godzilla", the Frontier Missile expert in "Godzilla vs. the Thing",
and the commander in “War of the Insects". He also appeared in “Atomic
Rulers of the World”, "Terror Beneath the Sea", "Las Vegas Free-for-
All", and "Tora! Tora! Tora!". He died in 1996 at 84 in Japan.

1929: TAKESHI KATO, who played the trade minister in "Godzilla 1985",
Fujiwara-no-Okuni in "Princess from the Moon", and Prof. Yamashiro in
"Sinking of Japan", is born in Tokyo.

1960: "Godzilla Raids Again" is released in South Korea.
MAURICE DE PACKH, orchestrator on "The Beast From 20,000
Fathoms",
dies in Beverly Hills, Calif.

1961: SHO AIKAWA, who played an employee in "Pulse" and Shinichi
Ishikawa a.k.a. “Zebraman”, returning in "Zebraman 2: Attack on Zebra
City", is born in Kagoshima, Japan.

1962: KJELD PETERSEN, who played Police Officer Olsen in "Reptilicus",
dies in Denmark.

1965: SATOSHI KOBAYASHI, who played Masako Tezuka in "Godzilla vs.
Mothra: The Battle for Earth", is born in Kyoto.
JOHN C. REILLY, who played Mr. Murray in the U.S. version of "Dark
Water", is born in Chicago. His other films include "Casualties of
War", "Days of Thunder", "Shadows and Fog", "What's Eating Gilbert
Grape", "The River Wild", "Sydney", "Boogie Nights", "Magnolia", "The
Thin Red Line", "The Hours", "The Good Girl", "Gangs of New York",
"Chicago", "The Aviator", "A Prairie Home Companion", and "Walk Hard:
The Dewey Cox Story".

1969: RICHARD GARLAND, who played Dale Drewer in “Attack of the Crab
Monsters”, dies.

1966: HAROLD CONWAY, see above, marries Hiroko Ishiwata.

1967: Episode 8 of "Masked Ninja Red Shadow", "Secret of Southern
Barbarian Tube", debuts on Japanese TV.

1973: Episode 8 of "Robot Detective", "Death by Thunderbolt?!", debuts
on Japanese TV.

1975: Epiosde 7 of "Secret Squadron Goranger", "Moonlight of Pink!
Wolf Unit", debuts on Japanese TV.
Episode 8 of "Kamen Rider Stronger", "Dissolve Rider! Finishing

1976: BOBBY BARBER, who played a diner customer in "Mighty Joe Young",
dies in Seal Beach, Calif.

1977: VICTOR O. SCHIPEK, production manager on "The Godzilla Power
Hour", dies in Los Angeles.

1978: Episode 2 of Toei’s “Spider-man” debuts on Japanese TV.

1979: JAN ARVEN, who played Contino in "20 Million Miles to Earth",
dies of a heart attack in Los Angeles.

1980: Episode 17 of "Electronic Task Force Denziman" debuts on
Japanese TV.

1986: GEORGE GORDON, director on "The Godzilla Power Hour", dies in
Apple Valley, Calif.
Episode 13 of “Super Nova Flashman” debuts on Japanese TV.

1992: Episode 26, the final episode of "Ultraman Kids: Searching for
Mother 30 Million Light Years Away", debuts on Japanese TV.

2002: NIJIKO KIYOKAWA, who was in “Gamera 3: Revenge of Irys”, dies
from a lung hemorrhage in Takatsu, Kawasaki, Kandagawa, Japan.

2003: JULES LEVY, who played a reporter in "Ape", dies in Los
Angeles.

2007: "One Missed Call: Final" is released in Thailand.
