1880: EARL "HAP" HOGAN, who played a member of the ship's crew in the
original "King Kong", is born in Ohio.


1901: BRIAN DONLEVY, who played General Terry Arnold in the U.S.
release of "Gammera the Invincible", is born in Cleveland. His other
films include "A Man of Quality", "Gentlemen of the Press", "Mary
Burns, Fugitive", "Another Face", "Barbary Coast", "36 Hours to Kill",
"Beau Geste", "The Milky Way", "The Great McGinty", and "The Miracle
of Morgan's Creek", and the TV series "Dangerous Assignment".


1927: JUNKICHI ORIMOTO is born in Tokyo. He played Kido in "Message
from Space" and Defense Agency Chief Mori in "Godzilla 1985".
ROY JENSON, who played the bartender in "Solar Crisis", is born
in Calgary. He was also in "The Great Escape", "Kung Fu", and
"Chinatown", and was Robert Mitchum's stunt double in "River of No
Return".


1949: SHIGERU ARAKI, who played Jo Shigeru a.k.a. "Kamen Rider
Stronger", reprising the role in "Kamen Rider: All Back Again! 7
Riders" and "Sky Rider", is born in Izumi, Japan. He also played Kei
Tsukimura a.k.a. "Super-Divine Bibiyun" and appeared in Episode 7 of
"Ultraman Tiga".


1951: TERRY MOORE, who played Jill Young in "Mighty Joe Young",
marries Glenn Davis.


1962: TETSUO SHINOHARA, director on the "Sky High" TV series, is born
in Tokyo.


1969: RICK SHICK, who did visual effects on "Mighty Morphin Power
Rangers" and was digital compositor on "V.R. Troopers", "Masked
Rider", "Power Rangers Zeo", and "Big Bad Beetleborgs", is born.

Episode 22 of “Operation: Mystery” debuts on Japanese TV.


1973: Episode 19 of "Warrior of Love Rainbowman", "Racing! Giant
Flying Squirrel Killing Technique", debuts on Japanese TV.
HAJIME TSUBURAYA, producer at Tsuburaya Productions and director
on "Ultra Q", "Ultraman", and "Ultra Seven", dies.


1974: Episode 39 of "Kikaida 01", "Fearsome Flying Saucer Brings Enemy
Spacemen", debuts on Japanese TV.
Episode 52, the final episode of "Kamen Rider V3", "The Last Day
of Destron", debuts on Japanese TV.
Episode 19 of "Ironman Tiger-Seven", "I Hear Tiger Seven
Singing", debuts on Japanese TV.


1977: MISATO TANAKA, who played Kiriko Tsujimori in "Godzilla vs.
Megaguirus" and a nurse in "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla", is born

Wanderer", debuts on Japanese TV.


1983: ERENA, who played the elder sister of Miho Kirishima in "Kamen
Rider Ryuki: Episode Final" and was in "One Missed Call", is born in
Kanagawa, Japan.

1985: Episode 2 of “Blitzkrieg Squadron Changeman” debuts on Japanese
TV.


1989: OSAMU TEZUKA, creator of "The Space Giants", dies of a gall
stone infection in Osaka.


1994: Episode 43 of Season 1 of "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers",
"Something Fishy", debuts on Fox.


1996: Episode 46 of "Superpowered Squadron Ohranger", "Final Day of
the Earth!!" debuts on Japanese TV.

1998: "Daimajin", "Wrath of Daimajin", and "Return of Daimajin", are
released on U.S. home video by ADV Films.

2007: "Exte: Hair Extensions" has its world premiere and "Ghost Train"
premieres in Germany at the European Film Market.
"Returner" premieres in Sweden on TV.

2008: “L: Change the World” is released in Japan, Hong Kong, and
Thailand.
