1912: GEORGE KHOURY, who played Verrico the fisherman in "20 Million
Miles to Earth", is born in Cairo, Egypt.
1913: MICHAEL GOUGH, who played Dr. Charles Decker in "Konga", is born
in Malaysia. His other films include "Anna Karenina", "Blanche Fury",
"The Man in the White Suit", "Richard III", "Horror of Dracula", "The
Phantom of the Opera", "Black Zoo", "Dr. Terror's House of Horrors",
"The Skull", "Berserk", "They Came from Beyone Space", "Women in

Treasures" and D-1 Project Leader Dr. Tadokoro Tanaka in "Tidal Wave",
and his other credits include the "Shacho" comedy films, the spy in
the closet in "Sanjuro", and the boss in "A Taxing Woman".
1924: PAULA RAYMOND, who played Lee Hunter in "The Beast From 20,000
Fathoms", is born in San Francisco. She was also in "Adam's Rib".
1928: WILL SCHAEFER, who co-wrote the theme for "The Godzilla Power
Hour", is born in Kenosha, Wis. He also composed the themes for "The
Wonderful World of Disney" and "The Sky Trap", and wrote "It's a Small
World" for the Disneyland ride (which also was used in the U.S.
release of "The Last War").
1930: ROBERT EASTON, who played a deckhand in "The Beast From 20,000
Fathoms", is born in Milwaukee. He is a respected dialect coach in
Hollywood, and appeared in both the TV and film versions of "The
Beverly Hillbillies".
1932: KUNIE TANAKA, who played Yasaku in the "Hoichi the Earless"
segment of "Kwaidan" and Doc Shimamura in "Evil of Dracula", is born
in Gifu, Japan. He was also in “Blood Type: Blue”.
