Well, it had to happen, but did it have to be by a
talent-challenged group of musicians? This is a pop-punk
song, done as a satire (I suppose). The lyrics are pretty
bad -- and raunchy -- the music is mediocre. I saved the
thing (don't ask me why I'm wasting my hard drive space on
this. I may not keep it very long.) But rather than me waste
any more time by uploading it to ABX, why don't you go to
http://www.mp3.com/artists/24/yellow_sloth_chicken_broth.html
if your curiosity has got the best of you and download it
from there.

Yeah, I listened to it on MP3 some days ago and couldn't
believe how BAD the singer was. The name of the group,
Yellow Sloth Chicken Broth was bad enough.

Still, my curiosity still makes me wish for a copy of the
lyrics.

Here ya go

"Gillian Anderson (I Wanna Be With You) "
(Yellow Sloth Chicken Broth)

I'm in love with a woman who keeps me up sunday nights.
When she comes on my TV shining her big flash light.
She plays Dana Scully the coolest secret agent yeah she never shows any
cleaveage except on the internet.
Wish I was an alien so I could grab her attention or some mutant freak a
mad genetisist's invention.
I'd beat that agent Mulder take you to my cave where you could slap your
cuffs on me and I would be your slave.

Because I wanna be with you.

when things get outta hand now????? call those hollywood snobs a million
fragile egos with
a million new nose jobs
I will be here waiting with my heart still yearning and I won't even
mention a word about "The Turning" .
Gillian your eyes are so bright you light up the screen I'm taking acting
lessons rehearsing our big love scene.
I've got it all scripted out I bought the champagne and the candles s
menage a trois involving you me and neve cambell.

If you go to mp3.com and search for X-files you'll find a lot of song
inspired in the series and its characters.

Vampyr,
Thank you very much. Now I don't need to buy the
recording and listen to that gawdawful singing. Blecch! Even
Bree Sharp is five times better with her song, "David
Duchovny."

Replay,
Thank you also. I never thought of that. Will try it
out.

Replay, I visited MP3.com while at work today (couldn't
access Instant Play of the songs there on my home computer),
and found this one really cool song by a guy named Marcus
Krause, called "What about Gillian? (Anderson!)" His singing
and songwriting is far, FAR better than Yellow Sloth Chicken
Broth's ode to Gillian. I recommend people visit and give
him a listen.

I don't know if anyone's heard this GA song by Turtle Bend. You can find it at
mp3.com. It's an electronic type o' ditty. *Very* groovy and 100 times better
than the Yellow Sloth Chicken Broth one...

Asrana, I think the ones we've be talking about are all
found on the MP3.com website. Just go to
http://www.mp3.com/ and do a search using "Gillian
Anderson." You might have to do a search using "Turtle
Bend" to get theirs, since the last time I visited MP3.com
it did not come up in the search results.

IMHO, only Marcus Krause's "What About Gillian?" is
worthwhile saving, but you be the judge. Good luck!
