protestantism at large. Being recalcitrant shoots of the stalk

Chaz..... this stuff isn't new around the TBN planet. It has surfaced
a few times before, most will not see the light of day. I imagine
scandals from an organization this large and well monied has strands
of influence and corruption to the existent political powers will act
to contain it to internal issues.... like that school with the teacher/
pervert issue currently in the news. Anybody thinking knows the issue
goes way beyond that school... listen to the LAUSD superintendent
speaking on the subject and the stategic bureaucratic overreaction and
the problem is obvious and he's part of it. Not only does the
reaction shift attention away from the problem itself but it allows
for piggybacking of all manner of 'politically correct' views such as
budget cuts and immigration status none of which have anything to do
with allowing gatekeepers in the system for such persons under
diversity programs for hiring and promotion.. it gains allies though
since concern for the children is secondary to other agendas. The
question should be and remain.... how is it that this could have
happened in the first place... like the Sandusky thing, there is a
network in place for this stuff as there is in the Catholic church,
others too I'm sure.... not the least is big government which seems to
be the biggest enabler of all. Every now and then there's a public
outbreak whose reach will be limited so business as usual can continue.
