So, I went Cache diving. Amazingly, it was still there.

Here is the text from the Daphne page that disappeared. THIS is what
Invisicat was referring to, not the Fuzzy Logic article. I suppose this is
also the reason she was included on the Fallen list.

Furry Little Secret No Longer Available

I am no longer selling, handling or drawing "furry" art with the exception of
TALL TAILS which I never considered "furry" to begin with.

I will also no longer be attending "furry" conventions or accepting
commissions of that genre so please do not ask.

Most images featured on the Furry Little Secret website are currently
available as prints and posters through Mailbox Books. These are the only
images available and they will NOT be added to or updated. They will also be
available for a limited time only at which point I will have Mailbox Books
remove them permanently.

Sorry for any inconvienence and disappointment.

I guess she got pissed off.

Between the audience that fits within the "negatives" that led her to
leave, and the negatives she listed as conflicting with her interests and
willingness to draw erotica, I think both sides therefore have had an equal
effect...

On what date did she post the final 'goodbye' message?

Inconclusive. Since it was pulled out of my cache and the original was
deleted from the web site, I can't do a Page Info on it to determine the date.
All we know is that within the last day or so she removed it, presumably
because it was no longer needed.

Any time in the last year is a good guess.

Didn't she post some kind of going away message here or or a.f.f.b?

I recall seeing the message, but not the date. In any event, she seemed
cheerful enough at Anthrocon 2000, doing a nice Tali pic in my
sketchbook and a nice rendition of me as a bear on my con badge...

Never saw anything like that...
I looked through Deja, but her tracks stop at Feb,21st. I thought she
was pretty cool. I'm pist she just up and left that without leaving a
noticeable "goodbye" here. But maybe it's for the best considering
how some people here would assume use her reasons for Ammo
rather than highlighting and respecting the original reason an artist
decides to share their talent w/ the fandom.

Pity. She was a nice person and a talented illustrator. I'll miss her.
