Simple story: Artist gets burglarized, loses computer, supplies and
originals,
wants to get back to freelance work but needs some funds to get started.

Good luck!

"PlanetFur" <cb...@dragonmagic.net> shall never vanquished be until
great Birnam wood to high alt.fan.furry. hill shall come against him.

Speaking, ex cathedra, as a student of fine art (thus being able to
make irevocable judgements on all manner of things relateing to such),
I say that artists come cheap nowdays, like people who work in
McDonalds.

I will not pay $400. No sir. NEVER.
Not unless I get an oil painting and you clean my shoes and cook me an
omelette and throw in some lapis luzli for free.

I bet you're fun at art fairs.

Got to have it, before you can spend it.

I've only been thrown out of one once, And that was only when I was a
child and screaming and crying and stuff.

I have precisely Ł1400 in all the world. But I'm not going to spend
that on art, I will spend it on building a palace fit for a doge.

For $400, I could do you something in oil. Mind you, crude art is
cheaper, but I'm sure you want something more refined.
Maybe a nice sea otter? If you don't like it, it'd definitely have
great resale potential in the right market. I hear out on the west
coast, they clean up in a big way when sea otters come up in oil.
We're talking millions of dollars involved.

Good thing I've got plenty of Kiwi polish. Good stuff. Lucy Lawless used
to use it a lot of it on the set of Xena, you know.

Sorry, I don't do omelets, but I do make a mean egg foo yung.

Oh. Well, that leaves me out. All I've got is this bunch of malachite.

You want to live in a doge-house? Or a garage, that's a palace fit for
a Dodge.
