-= Morphicon 2011 - Half-Way There =-
Yes, yes, apologies for the newsletter being a little later than
usual. There is, however, reason for this - namely, we are currently
sitting at the apogee between cons! (Well, just this side, but who's
splitting hares, er, hairs?) What does this mean? Other than 180 days
until Furries in Wonderland, it means your dedicated staff have
finally shaken off the last of the post-con blues and are already busy
working to ensure Morphicon 2011 is better than ever!
In the coming weeks, a new website will be launched with a
dramatically different feel from its past iterations. We will be
switching over to Drupal, a platform which will allow us to tailor the
Morphicon website to better serve us and make it more convenient for
you. Expect to see a higher level of interactivity and relevant
information in the coming months. As of yet, a few bugs are still
being worked out and you may notice occasional outages to the current
website. Please be assured this will be quickly remedied and please
try again later. There is no specific date for launch but we can say
you'll be "thankful".

-= Next on the Docket =-
Though in its very earliest stages, Savant, who is in charge of
Programming, has assured us we can expect the return of the
ever-popular Atomic Spectacle of Doom and Atomic Battle of Doom!
Likewise, we can also tell you the Frozen Oasis will return this year
for your entertainment and we have decided to expand Furry Karaoke for
your, um, enjoyment.
But, wait! You don't know what those are? Ah-ha! Don't fret! In the
coming months Morphicon Miscellanea will be pleased to inform you of
the basics of these events, and more, so you can hit the ground
running once you arrive in May! We will even tell you what those
strange tickets you've been receiving in your bag are for and how you
can use them!

-= Panels, Panels Everywhere =-
With Morphicon only being a three day event, and with the large number
of panels to choose from, we, your staff, would love to have your
input on what you would like to see or attend at this year's con. We
want to make Morphicon the best we can and, for that, we require your
input. Art and gaming panels will again be present, as will writing
and crafting panels. Spirituality and SIG's are both good bets, also.
The question is, what would you like to see? Give us your raves and
rants for panels past and tell us what you would like to include if we
don't have it already. Until the new website is up and running, feel
free to send your comments and ideas to Publicity[at]Morphicon.org and
we'll make sure they get to the correct Track Head.

-= Still Searching for Artists - Now With Incentives! =-
We are always looking for art for the various publications we put out
and would love to see what you can come up with. We can't guarantee we
can use every submission, however, any donated art will have that
artist's name put into a random drawing for a Morphicon t-shirt from
years past! Your contribution will be appreciated and mentioned, but
now you could also get some cool swag! Send any and all submissions to
Publicity[at]Morphicon.org!

-= Frozen Fur Balls =-
No, not an invitation to a sketchy weekend party, we, your humble
Morphicon staff, are kicking around the idea of having a fursuit
bowling event in January. This would allow a Morphicon-branded event
every four months and give everyone a chance to shake off the winter
blues. Details are still sketchy but we can say registration, similar
to the picnic's, will be necessary to get planned attendance numbers
so we can get the appropriate discounts. Stay tuned for more
information or contact Publicity[at]Morphicon.org if you have any
questions or ideas.
