Furry memories: LawnCon

Anyone here remember LawnCon? Of course not, as we'll learn in a moment.

Early in the history of Anthrocon, Kevin Duane got himself barred from the
convention. It's a long story, one you can look up elsewhere. But he came
to that particular AC, although he was not allowed in the con areas.

Carole and I attended with our usual crew, including Boyce Kline. As we
were leaving Sunday afternoon in Boyce's car, he suddenly saw Duane on the
lawn of the hotel. Stopping the car he ran over.

The two of them chatted for a moment, and exchanged something. Boyce
returned to the car. He said he bought a CD from Kevin.

I asked him if he enjoyed LawnCon. He said he did.

Years later, I told Kage about it, that the attendance was small but it had
a REALLY large Dealer's room and the sales capita was great.

He shook his head and said he wished he had known about it.

Is this Kevin Duane from staten island. By what I read about it can be the same guy I knew growing up
