So I am fascinated by other solutions.
And each solution is not only a representation, it is one done on the
terms of the person using it. These maybe financial, or other
criterion. I do not think I will ever go fursuit. I want some facial
expression, and the expense and reported heat and vision problems are
a turn off. Some of the unusual ones I have seen at the Skiltaires
have been a canine that can do 4 paws on the ground, a wildly strange
headed white canine, and that dragon I saw last Saturday. He was
black, had complete mobility of his body, and had a head piece that
was almost as mobile. I was as interested and impressed as I was with
the head piece of that 4 on the floor dude (which had to be an
upgrade). And there was a scaly dude that had the bottom half of his
costume jaw attached to his real jaw. Also interesting from a
potential expression point.
So have I missed any?
In anycase I am likely to post here to update this when I see
something more.

Where am I going? I don't quite know.
What does it matter *where* people go?
Down to the woods where the bluebells grow!
Anywhere! Anywhere! *I* don't know!

Actually, while respecting other people's solutions, I do not want to
do fursuiting.
No facial expression.
But thanks.
I am looking for a solution, and am fascinated by the non-standard
solutions I have been finding.
