ME: Whats the deal with "Sociopolitical Ramifications"? I know its a MUCK
(Whatever) but what dose it mean? I know it has something to do with some
comic, but all the comic stores in my area have closed down so I am not
really able to check out any comics myself.

BC: You fool! What was that all about?

Yes, SPR is a Muck, but the first place I heard (err... read) the
term was in a copy of Albedo. What does it mean? Ouch. Hard one. It's
about as easy for me to define as Political Correctness. It's not in the
Hypertext Webster's Dictionary, umm, but I did find "Sociopolitical" in
the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

Main Entry: soácioápoálitáiácal
Pronunciation: "sO-sE-O-p&-'li-ti-k&l, "sO-shE-
Function: adjective
Date: 1884
: of, relating to, or involving a combination of social and political factors

So SPR would be the long term effect, or ramifications of an event
on the social and/or political structures in an area.(1)

It's a term used in the comic Tank Vixens. It's meant to be a satirical
slam at Albedo, where the critters often use big words like that. :)
