Okay, then I won't mention Román's page
<http://globalia.net/donlope/fz/videography/Medium_Cool.html> which one
might suppose would summarize the knowledge of the inhabitants of affz
on this topic.
The IMDb gives considerable information about the music in the film if
you look hard enough.
From <http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0064652/trivia>:
> In the psychedelic nightclub sequence, the band seen performing on
> the stage is The Litter, a Minneapolis-based group. However, in the
> original release version, their music is not heard; instead, we hear
> a piece by Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention.
This suggests that, in some version other than the original release, The
Litter themselves are heard in this scene.

Román's page indicates that this is indeed Wild Man Fischer's
Merry-Go-Round they're talking about.
From <http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0064652/fullcredits>:
> Original Music by
> Mike Bloomfield
> Mike Bloomfield .... musician (as Michael Bloomfield)
> Paul Butterfield .... musician
> Marcus Doubleday .... musician
> Bob Jones .... musician
> Noel Jukes .... musician
> John Kahn .... musician
> Ira Kamin .... musician
> Fred Olson .... musician
> Jerry Oshita .... musician
So perhaps the music you were asking about was written by Mike
Bloomfield and performed by these musicians, most of whose names I
recognize from the credits of various albums recorded in San Francisco
around this time (Mike Bloomfield, Electric Flag, Brewer & Shipley, etc.)
By the way, flutist Noel Jewkes (I believe this is the correct spelling)
has recorded with affz's own Graham Connah.
Bassist John Kahn was in the Jerry Garcia Band, who opened for FZ,
8/18/84 Chicago.

I thought i recognised the love
but cannot find them on the credits.
I'll get back on the topic whit the exact time the music i asked about is
playing.

You mean like Arthur Lee? Why didn't you said so?
From <http://www.tangents.co.uk/tangents/main/2002/april/love.html>:

From <http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B00002516U/103-1188713-0296617>:

From <http://lege.cz/hudba/love.htm>:

Oh, and while we're on the subject of Love's first album--what's the
connection between that album and FZ?

I found the answer to your question on the internet, using Google's
search engine.
