Someone in this group (can't remember) ever sent me 3 CDR's called The live experience Frank Zappa sensational performance.
It has nearly the whole May 9 1973 show in the Capitol Theatre in Passaic NJ + bonus tracks from the Aug 18 1973 show in Copenhagen.

On the cover is a pic of Zappa on the piano + the songlisting + LCR CD 730509 Made in Italy.
On the inlay there is a pic of the old Mothers with Billy Mundi, Don  Preston, JCB, Jim Sherwood(small) with Frank (big) looking over them. In blood dripping letters it says: Frank Zappa Sensational Performance May 9, 1973, Capitol Theatre Passaic New Jersey.

Can't find anything on the net or in newsgroups.

Is this a real bootleg LP or CD or is it copied from a tape? If you want to see copies of the pics I can put them on my site.

Many years ago on The Gong Show I saw an older "person" in a slinky dress,
leaning on a piano, toothlessly sing or lip sync Billie Holliday's "The Man
I Love", while taking swigs of a bottle of mouthwash and flopping all over
the place.

God why can't TV be like that anymore <sob>.

On Wed, 11 Dec 2002 07:09:48 GMT, Digital let go of his pickle and out jumped:

What was the name of the GS regular whose routine generally went:

"I'm gonna play my trombone"

[What ya gonna do?]

"I'm gonna play my trombone"

[What ya gonna do?]

"I'm gonna play my trombone"

[What ya gonna do?]

"I'm gonna play my trombone now....."

...and then he would inevitably screw the task -- and, often as not, himself --
up in some humorous fashion...

A memorable episode had a contestant belching Poe's "The Raven." I
was quite disappointed when they gonged him.
