resurrect the YCDTOSA -series, with (officially) unreleased stuff across the
board - like all the missing stuff from '88, more stuff from 76-78 bands,
more Vinnie etc.
Now I know some hardcore folks feel that the only stuff worth releasing are
so called "monster songs" - I personally wouldn't mind even hearing Bobby
Brown for the 100th time if it was from an era / line-up never (officially)
released before.
The one line-up I'd really like to hear more is the '73 group, with Ralph
and Jean-Luc...
Anyways. Just a thought.

a vamp and/or structure for each solo, and this set-up is not deviated
from. Plus, in comparing different performances of the same song, one
finds that the only difference between them is the solo itself, with
all other aspects of the song being essentially the same. So while I
highly enjoy this tour for the wonderful soloing that occurs within
each tune, I find that the tour is lacking in any real "far out"
improvisation, and thus there are no Monster Songs.

AFAIK, it's never been in circulation. But zappa.com posted a snippet
of it (with local references that proved it was the show I thought it
was) to promote the Imaginary Diseases release. (Which is from a whole
different tour, but there was conceptual continuity between the San
Diego excerpt and the CD title.)
