Vito told me how much he loved these "adult" film "interviews" he did. .
.In this one he is seen dancing and photographing a young "model" in his
studio at 303 North Laurel in West Hollywood. He never had any problem
doing these as long as the producer would pan over to his sculpture. One
of just a few surviving clips of my friend and teacher Vito Paulekas.

Vito's Dancers Freak Out with The Mothers of Invention

This clip from You Are What You Eat is the best surviving examples of
Vito's Dancers in action. This was shot when the Mothers were playing at
The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The producers of the film could
not get the rights to Zappa's music, so they replaced it with some Paul
Butterfield stuff. No matter, this is classic Vito's Dancers. Not the
best quality, looks like a film chain transfer of an old 16mm print, but
still closest thing to being there that we have today. Another gem from
the Studio 303 Archives.

Look again. There's none to hear, but plenty to see.
FZ appears repeatedly, though he's sometimes difficult to identify. Ray
Collins, Roy Estrada, and I think Jimmy Carl Black also appear briefly.

Actually, I believe this is the Electric Flag and John Simon. Paul
Butterfield is heard elsewhere in the film.

The Present Day Composer Refuses To Die_ (2000), and there we can also
see Del Kacher playing with The Mothers, but I couldn't find him here.
