You know....all of a sudden.....for NO reason....some song you haven't
heard or thought about in years.....WHY??

This morning while getting ready for work (S, S & S) the Kinks' "Stop
Your Sobbin" started going thru my mind. I haven't heard that tune in
20 years! Why??

Last week it was "Southbound Jericho Parkway" by Roy Orbison!!!

Oddness - "Stop Your Sobbin" was a song that popped into my head from
time to time.

So often that I went out and picked up a double-disc Kinks collection
just to put it back in the collection.

Sure enough, after I had it in my collection, the unlooked for mental
visitations ceased ...

Who knows? These are not the catchiest of tunes!

I find that the song that pops into my head is usually the last song I
heard. But when I hear another catchy song, it typically replaces it.
