The Ike Willis Book Project
www.kickstarter.com
Ike Willis is a legendary musician and singer most known for his time
collaborating with music icon Frank Zappa. This is his story!

Hey Folks!!! This is the "Project Scrutinizer" and I'm here to tell
you about the upcoming release of the OFFICIAL IKE WILLIS STORY told
by Ike himself. I have recently conducted about 25 hours of interviews
with Ike and his wife Denise at their home in LA. I have known Ike for
about 15 years and we have talked about doing a book about his menoirs
for a while. This book is going to truly be 1 of a kind and include a
dvd of interview highlights and musical performances and other special
features. We are raising money to cover the editing/writing/publishing
costs via www.kickstarter.com. Please visit our link below and
contribute what you can. You won't be sorry b/c this the REAL DEAL!!!

The book covers all sorts of inside info about the writing and
recording process of FZ, never before told tour stories, insights to
many of the band members and lots of information about Ike's current
projects and musical collaborations. There will be lots of art and
photos and games and interactive elements as well. Be a part of the
process and help bring this project to life in the form FZ would take
pride in!

Sure, I'll be glad to buy it once it's finished. Sorry but Gail
disabused me of paying ahead of time for stuff that may or may not
actually get released. Plus these days I can't afford no shoes.

Meantime, I'm pretty sure you stole the "CRANK SOME FRANK!" line from
me. Not that I care, since I stole it from my friend Phil, the man who
turned me and my friend Tony onto Frank 30-some years ago.

If there is prior art (to 1981) I will be glad to recant this admittedly
lame assertion. Meantime I want to stake a claim to an actual meme in
the Zappaverse. Please? I have so little to show for myself otherwise.

cheers,
BAM
