I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to. At :56 into RDNZL (Stage 2)
I hear: D G Bb Db C Ab. To my ear, the dominant notes to the Duckman theme
are D G# A D G# A. Are you thinking of another section of the DM theme?
I'm intrigued. :-<)>

You know those eight notes that make up the theme for
the bass line for the Duckman main title music? Well,
those same eight notes are right in the middle of the
melody for RDNZL. Really. Check it out. Listen to RDNZL
(track 4) on YCDTOSA2 at 0:56. The eight notes go by
in less than a second, so it might take a while to pick 'em
out, but I assure you they're there.

Just another piece of CC to think about.

Or not.

(Hey, who the hell else I am gonna tell except you guys?)

In article <2r86em$b...@brahms.udel.edu>,

Sorry. The notes in question are: C C# F# A# C# C G# G,
where the pitch is going up for the first five, and down for the
last three notes. Upon closer listening, I guess I'm only
3/4ths correct: The Duckman theme starts out with:
G G# C# F G# G D C# -- so the first 6 notes are the same
as in RDNZL, but transposed down a bit; the last two
notes are different (but they smell the same to me.)

So do I get partial credit? I showed my work!

(and did you know that the MST3K theme is from Inca Roads?
...just kidding....)

Extra credit for David! :-<)> I was thinking of the DM theme after the
little marimba riff you just pointed out. Now I'm with you. Yes....<sniff>
it _does_ kinda smell the same, doesn't it?

(MSTy theme may be related to Let Me Take You to the Beach) :-<D>
