Using various methods, I believe that I have identified all but one of
the tracks. I could not identify the source for "Watts" on Disc
Five. I originally thought it was from 1974 because of George's
unmistakable piano, but I don't hear Ruth and the drums could be
either Terry or Chester, so it's either from '74 or '75.
I have included my findings below. Feel free to error check it.

I can't access the sample at the moment, but I'm going to guess from
the title, length and description that this is the "Trouble Every Day"
solo from Goteborg, 9/25/74, which FZ apparently considered releasing.
> 6. Falling In Love Is a Stupid Habit - Demo, appeared on Apocrypha
Interesting choice to release given that FZ denied knowledge of this
song.
> 9. Clownz On Velvet - Live at The Ritz in New York, 17-Nov-1981 (w/ Al
> DiMeola), appeared on Apocrypha
Interesting choice to release given that Al DiMeola wouldn't authorize
FZ to release his solo (although, according to a post on zappa.com, he
has said recently that he's forgotten why he made that decision).
> 17. Too On The Town - Impromptu TV Theme, appeared on Randomonium
Should be "Two On The Town" (although I suppose FZ might have
appreciated the wordplay of "too on the town").
> 18. Truck Driver Divorce - Studio outtake, appeared on Randomonium
I think this is actually a live recording without the studio-
rerecorded vocal and drums heard on Them Or Us.

This is possible. It is a solo (and a damn good one, I might add).
The sound quality is spectacular for a boot, so it would not be
surprising if it was one that he considered releasing.

Does anybody really believe that Joe Travers does not have a copy of
Apocrypha?

Yeah. I don't know what's with the misspellings. I don't know that
the actual boots mispelled that track name. Note that "Rondo Hattom
on Guitar" is also a misspelling.

I just heard the sample and yes, that's what "Watts" is.

"Twinkle Tits" on the Zut Alors lp in the 10-record Mystery Box bootleg
is the same solo.

Do you mean "Munchkin Tits"?
Mike E.
Derr on my part. Yeah, that's what I meant.

Yep, that's the one. Just checked out my Zut Alors-Side 2 mp3. Oh,
well. At least now I have it as a separate file. (I bought "Watts"
and "Kreega Bundola", the latter of which I really didn't have.)
At least it has good sound.

Also, at least they're not trying to charge $19 for each "album"...
Speaking of the Zut Alors boot, I'd still like to know where or what
that series of chords before "Ship Ahoy" comes from. I posted an mp3 of
it a couple years ago, but no one seemed to know...

Sounds like one of the strange FZ improvs that sometimes occured
around the "Chunga's"/"Zoot" segment of a fall 75/winter 76 show, but
I don't think anyone's found it on a concert tape yet.
