Hey now out there,
I'm not a heavy duty Zappa expert, and as a matter of fact I was
just introduced to Zappa material last year and took a liking to it.
Well, here's my question... What is the name of the tune that includes
the "Ram it, ram it , ram it, ram it up the poopshoot....Cornhole!" line,
and what cd is it available on.
Somone told me it could be found on Weasles Ripped my Flesh, but after
purchasing that CD, and I must admit thoroughly enjoying it, I didn't hear
this fabled tune.
My source was incorrect, so I look to you out there for an answer.
Also, which album does Frank talk about those Cheesy monster movies where
you can see the strings....
Thanks for your answers.

One more, question.... Are there bootlegs to be traded out there? I'm into
live music, and would be interested in some decent FZ if it exists.
Thanks-
Paul

Hi Paul,

I am pretty shure, that the song You are looking for is on 'Sheik YerBouti', but You probably should wait for someone else to confirm that.

If You are into 'Cheepnis' You have two choices. Either buy 'Roxy and Elsewhere' or 'You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore VOL II'

If it comes to life music, I highly recommend

Make That Jazz Noise Here
You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore VOL I through VOL VI
Zappa in New York
Roxy and Elsewhere

I hope that helps

Hendrik

But anyway listen to this, Ladies and Gentlemen, when the church wants to get your money, they remind you about hell. Broken Hearts are for Assholes, on the Sheik Yerbouti album,
which IMHO is one of Zappa's best.

Cheepnis on Roxy and Elsewhere. Another version, a lot faster
but without the monster movie chat, is on part II of the You Can't do
that on Stage Anymore series. There is also (endless) rambling about
monsters and monster movies on the Uncle Meat album...

That would be Broken Hearts are for Assholes on Sheik Yerbouti.

Several FZ tunes are influenced by cheezo bucks monster movies. I think what
you have in mind is Cheepnis on Roxy & Elsewhere.

Yeah, they're around. Most of those which I've heard are pretty worthless.
Some are ok though.

Ooops, I don't know. I haven't got the text (I'm depending on my ears), but You are right. This piece has been recorded in france, and hadn't he made some sort of experience in France??? Makes sense to me.

The song is Broken Hearts are for Assholes and it's on Sheik Yerbouti. I have
a tape of some New York Palladium concert where Steve Vai sings parts of this
song with interesting gestures.
