"a spanking"????

Hello, I am new to this group. Here is a quote that I read a little
while ago on the internet:

"Tim was talkin with the interview and off camera you hear Faith
yell "Loser" in
a teasing way at him. He looks towards her voice, (OMG he got 'the
look' on his
face) and says "You're gonna get a spankin' when we get home"!!!"

At first, I assumed that this must have been a joke, but I began to
wonder after purchasing Tim's newest cd. Has anyone else noticed the
number of songs subtley and not so subtley allude to spanking? Here
is a list of the ones that I've noticed:

-How bad do you want it? (self-explanatory)

-My old friend (appears to be about an heirloom razor strap hanging
on the wall that was perhaps passed down from his father)

-Back when (refers to the good ol' days when "being taken to the
woodshed" wasn't just a figure of speech).

-Something's broken (could refer to an implement of spanking that was
broken while in use)

****It really isn't too far fetched to suspect that these two
practice traditional Christian Domestic Discipline in their
relationship. After all, the far Christian right always seem to hang
on to traditions that have long disappeared from mainstream liberal
progressive society.
