seriously, which it was not meant to be.
Although I really do not want to see Elton again on a stage that's so
high, one has to "stick your neck out" to see him, I'd still be happy
to be there, even if it was not in the front by the stage, or in a side
balcony box. Like I had at the Royal Opera House and Albert Hall. (or,
better still, in a private closed rehearsal)
Of course I'd pay to see Elton again! I'd even put up with being
crushed by his fans in order to be close to him, but I just don't like
to admit it! (I'll even be frisked if need be to prove I'm NO DANGER to
him!!!:((( as long as the bodyguard is cute!!;-))
I certainly do not want to go and spend my precious money, though
(which I can't afford to use on luxuries ~ not even Christmas presents)
just to see Elton from a distance. If I'm going to see Elton, it's to
see HIM, not just listen and watch a dot on a distant stage!;)
Sadly, I'm somewhat spoiled and like to be as close as possible. (In
fact, I dislike going to his public concerts to see him, since there's
just too many other people there!:( who get in my way! ;))

from hospital, (twice) despite still having a serious leg infection
(cellulitis) which has been difficult to budge, even with antibiotics.
An infection which could cause me to lose my leg or even kill me!
~ either way, I won't ever be able to dance to Elton's music

lot to bring me to this, though)
I know I should be grateful for the free medical we get in Britain, but
when they misdiagnose you many times, and then lie about it, one can
only complain! (but even that doesn't do any good, it seems! No one
seems to listen to poor people!:((
You know, I have never in my life been impressed by Elton John ~ not by
his talent, fame or fortune, but I AM very impresssed that he can be
heard and that people sit up and listen to what he has to say, and take
notes!!
Very few ordinary people have this power! ("money talks"?)

For someone who claims to be all about "love", you are an unbelievably cruel
and viscious woman. Nice to know my being in a wheelchair is so damn
amusing to you. And trust me on this, Elton will NEVER, and I do mean NEVER
confuse us. He knows me, he likes me, and he thinks I'm "the sweetest
thing". I can't imagine anyone who knows how mean spirited and hurtful you
are saying the same about you. Don't bother to reply -- I really don't need

In fact I WAS in a wheelchair not too long ago, with the same leg I'm
troubled with now! (I fell out of the loft, when the ladder collapsed
and crushed my leg, breaking it and causing me to have a concussion for
8 hours!! I was not only hospitalised, but in a wheelchair for several
weeks, and now that this leg is so inflamed at the moment, I probably
WILL be in a wheelchair next week! So I was not making fun of you, but
of ME! I was actually trying to cheer myself up as I've been through
hell this past two weeks!
I was certainly not mocking you, in the least! (but I'm shocked at how
negatively you think! ~ It's not ME who has a nasty, hateful mind,
that's for sure!:((

Yes, we ALL need to try to get along, that's for sure! That is why I'm
taking the time to respond to this post. (instead of sitting under a
lampost on the corner of the street, begging for Christmas money!

Seriously though: ~ Just remembered that when I was in the hospital
recently, I came to realise something ~ and that is that I don't come
across the way I intend to. Unfortunately, when I'm annoyed and feel
some injustice has been done, I sound "haughty" nasty, bossy and a
"know-it-all" with no love within me, at all. (in other words, a
"bitch"!)
Realise that I could be a lot nicer and more "Gay friendly" if I just
kept my big mouth shut! (or tried to "speak my truth" in a softer way)
It's hard though, when I'm up against people who unfairly call me every
name under the sun and wish me dead! I'm sorry to say that I do REACT
rather nastily to this kind of attitude!
For instance: I mentioned the lady (fan) at Elton's concert in Devon,
last year, and how she selfishly took up three or four places, in the
front, by the stage, when she could have shared it with other fans. I
argued with her, I'm sorry to say, but mostly because she was getting
nasty with my 16 year old daughter and NO ONE attacks my children
without me stepping in to defend them!
I should have just spoken to her nicely, later on, and apologised for
all the fuss, and told her how the friends I was with, we hadn't seen
for 5 years and how the woman I was with, had attended Elton's old
school and watched Elton give a private performance at that school in
the early 70's. Perhaps if I'd been more open and friendly she would
have realised her mistake and offered us all a small part of her vast
space she had at the stage! (that she didn't need or use!:(
I should have chatted with her as soon as I sat next to her "space" in
the tiny bit of grass that was vacant! Not just sat down and then call
over two adults and four teenagers to share that space with me! I guess
it's called "Diplomacy"
Something I need to learn ~ how to be more diplomatic!:(
Also, more recently, if I wasn't so annoyed with incompetent nurses and
doctors, I might get better treatment. Instead of coming over "haughty"
and indignant, I could have been more quiet and soft, but I come from a
very large argumentative family, where being LOUD was the only way to
get heard sometimes!:(
THIS is something I think I could do with some help. How to be upset
about something, but not get on my "high horse" about it. (at least I
didn't call them "rude, vile pigs!" LOL!!!:))
Why, even Elton reacted to my haughty (spoilt) *attitude* when I first
approached him, in 1975. I did not approach him humbly, but arrogantly
and indignantly, as if he was beneath me, or something! (well, I did
not like the way he was acting, like he was better than everyone else!)
It was also my sort of shield, I think, in order to brace myself for
having to approach him at all! (it wasn't my idea or wish!:(
In fact, "it's a little bit funny" how Elton's first and only words to
me were "Oh really!!??" as if he didn't believe me! (like a lot of his
fans do not today!) or as if he didn't already know! (I had told him I
was from England too)
SO.... to keep this short (for a change) I just want to say that I've
learned yet another lesson from interracting on this newsgroup, and
that is to "approach with less defiance" and be less harsh-sounding
with people. (they obviously can't "feel the love" that's behind it)
So, in keeping with the *Spirit* of Christmas, I wish to apologise for
this, and hope I don't have to respond in an angry tone ever again.
(but it sure is hard not to, when others are constantly hurling abuse
and hurting me, so unfairly. :(
