Elton's earring

I took note that at the Atlanta concert Elton was wearing a hoop
earring. I have never seen him wearing one like that before. Looked
good. I always try to notice what he's wearing. I loved the one he had
,that was a parrot sitting on a hoop. I was wondering what kind, if any
he was wearing at his other concerts this leg.

Saw EJ in Moline and he didn't have any earring at all. He looked
fabulous--pale yellow suit, black Tshirt, horn rimmed glasses--classy!!

The last few concerts, Elton wore a hoop, it was a silver hoop. I have
seen him wearing a hoop with a cross hanging from it.

on it. He changed for the encore, but I can't for the life of me remember

I have to say that I really hate that dangling gold cross one. I don't know why
but I HATE when he wears that one, and that's the one he wears the most! I like
when he wore a diamond stud at one concert I went to, it was cute.

I'm sorry I asked now. Does everything have to turn into a fight. I'ts just a peice of jewlery after
all geezzz!!! I like to see him wearing his earrings. And the hoop w/ cross is one of my favorites
that he wears. I notice he seldom wears one if he's not on stage. I think it's attractive on him. I
heard once that Elton was one of the first gay men to wear one in his right ear . I don't want to
sound dumb but is this true? I also read somewhere that one reason he wore it in his right ear was
because of the way he faces the stage and he wanted it to be seen. "Don't shoot me " that's just
what I read somewhere.

I didn't mean to put any sort of theological spin on the significance to
the skull & crossbones earring; just that it seems to me to be a rather
strange combination: a "punkish" symbol presented in a decidedly
un-punkish medium. I also thought it was very distracting--it's just too
flashy. Fwiw, I hate dangling earrings, especially on men, as they do tend
to be distracting, but that's just me--it's his earlobe and he can hang
anything he wants from it.
