Hmmm... looks good. Has Frontier Dev finished the concept stage, and now
they want to get on with the game creation?

Frontier Developments is looking for professionals, with professional
level skills and preferably a resume to back it all up. The Elite fan base,
despite it's dedication to the games, is a lame lot. (With the exception
of Raqoon).

As the original post said, "We are based in Cambridge, U.K. and require in
house employees only."

The Elite Club, of course, is a different matter. We may well need several
artists for that.

"In house" as physically in the house, or "in house" as solely employed
by FDL? I'd have thought that this kind of job would lend itself to
remote working...but what do I know!

Even though I'm under 18 could I do that?

In the 2004th year of our lord (they were four years out did you know?), it
was written:

As the original post said, "We are based in Cambridge, U.K. and require in
house employees only."

"In house" as physically in the house, or "in house" as solely employed
by FDL? I'd have thought that this kind of job would lend itself to
remote working...but what do I know!

End of quote

By the way, if they did want "physically in the house" employees, I'm
ideally located. I actually live in Cambridge. Frontier Developments are in
Lode, which is outside Cambridge. If only I had some skill...

Probably not then, although this has yet to be decided for certain. I
will see if we can find a workaround.

How about parental/guardian consent/signature etc.? Usually works
for most things where something legal has to be done.

Don't forget that it's usually the under-18s who have the most time
on their hands to do this stuff... (certainly was that way for me).

I thought they wanted all their artists to move to inspirational spot of
sunny Cambridge.

I just checked out that page...

An idea would be to provide a size comparison diagram of the ships.
Seeing the relative sizes (of at least a few of the ships) would be
worthwhile. This is also done in the "Star Wars Technical
Commentaries" at http://theforce.net.
