Ok, I found some posts by me in 1997 from my second or third account. Still
looking for the older stuff
Any particular old stuff? Some of the oldies almost certainly have
private archives from the 90s:)

I was around here in the mid 90s (Simon II), but that was using
university computers that I obviously no longer have access to (and
probably don't even exist any more).

Who was Simon 1? Nickerson, Clay...?

In theory mine still exists, but it got a bit, er, shuffled by a disk
crash (think the bit in Banks' "The Player of Games" where somebody
honours a promise not to destroy a single word of a library by sorting
the contents of the library into alphabetical order), so it'd be some
work to resurrect it.

I vaguely remember that we tried to figure that out once and decided it
was somebody older than either of those who wasn't around any more.

Loved that book. Was that the one where one character was just a
previous character who'd snuck back in, in disguise?
I respect people who do that kind of thing ;)

An afe time before we can all remember? Scary!
*thinks*
So who is the oldest of the long timers who is still here in 2008
then? You, Simon and Aq1 got here before me, I'm not sure about the
rest?

Definitely not me. That's about as much as I can contribute to that. :-p

Simon I was definitely here before me (which is why I became Simon
II). IIRC there might've been a Simon III, but I can't remember now.

Since I've probably made about five posts in the last ten years, I'm
not sure if I can really be counted.

Kam and I appeared at about the same time.

Oh you're definitely counted.
You're Simon Two :)

(grins, ducks and runs!)
As well you might, that was really Christmas cracker standard!

A professionally written joke? Why, thank you ;)
Ce`
Wasn't it Simon Blakely? Or Blakeney? Or something like that?
Aq.
That's okay dear, we all knew you were a young 'un.

Noting how nice it is when The Boys grow up :)
Well, I didn't exactly make it hard to figure out, did I. IIRC, I was
possibly the youngest person at tEC1. Although Walker and/or Mara may
have been younger, but not by much.
Besides, you're not exactly ancient yourself. :-p

Some of us take a little longer than others, that's all. :-p

Jeh :-)
*ah-hem*
And stop being quite so 'nice'?

I've always preferred the Bad Boys myself.... it's my curse ;)

Tell me about it! Bad is good.
I was too nice to my bad boy and he won't talk to me anymore.
*sulks*
If I break the world, do you think he'd listen to me again?

Yes, your nick back then was Martel. I remember, because you, alongside
Sparhawk and I and a couple of others started the character alias thing! ;)
