Still check in every few years, but yeah it's very quiet. There's a
bit of a small activity burst in comp.misc for various /. related
reasons, so I kinda hoped that would spill over into other groups, but
no joy so far...

I was a frequent lurker here, and occasional poster, around the 2000-2005 timeframe. I happened to run across an article this afternoon that mentioned Usenet as part of some research I was doing, and it reminded me of those days. This place is incredibly nostalgic for me, now.
