Anyone ever see this program? I love it!!! It makes a tiny Elvis come up on
your desktop saying things like, "Whoa boys, check out that I-Con.... man,
that sucker's HUGE!" It is in an Elvis voice, and is hilarious. I took it
to work, and by the end of the day, almost everyone had it on their desktop.
I made some new voices and phrases for it, and I am going to be taking them
to work on Monday. I made the Elvis quotes relate to our workplace... and
if anyone is interested, I can make one for this NG. It sure would be
funny.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Actually, I think this is taken from a Saturday Night Live sketch
of this year or last year. There was the Tiny Elvis which showed up
on the dashboard of a car, or something like that. Actually, I don't
know when this sketch came out, but it's definitely a SNL skit. I
wish I had more info on it.

You're right, Gonz, it is from SNL. What the author of this program did was
take that concept, and make a Tiny Elvis for the Windows desktop. IT is
totally hilarious! Just like "Tiny E" on SNL, he makes comments about the
desktop....

I am in the process of making Tiny Elvis for our NG... he'll say things
like...

Whoa, boys, take a look at Mimi's butt.... man, that thing is HUGE
Whoa, man, check out Drew's belly... man, that sucker's HUGE

OR... I can go in this direction...

Whoa boys, take a look at Phils Beard... man, that thing is HUGE
Whoa, man, check out EJ's stomach... man, that sucker's HUGE
Whoa boys, check out Ria's belly... man, that thing is HUGE

(Hope you take that in good humor, Ria)

Whadda thing, gang?

No way! That would rock. I really don't know much Elvis besides those songs
everyone knows plus Return To Sender (because it's in the juke box of the
"social room" - the mini lunch room in my school for seniors only) but I still
like him. I say go for it.

Oh my God!!! I remember that "Tiny Elvis" skit from SNL (back in the good old
days....when it was funny...)!

I'm a huge Elvis fan!!! I even wanted to get married by an Elvis impersonator
in Vegas, but alas, my better half actually doesn't like the idea. Can you
believe it??

Anyway, yes, EJ, I'm definitely interested! That sure would brighten up my work
day! Where did you get it?

Wooden Heart Spice
(anyone recognize that Elvis tune?)

Wooden Heart was one of my favorite Elvis songs when I was a kid... he
actually sang parts of it in German! My other favorite was "Marie's the
Name (of His Latest Flame)." I have the original 45 version of it, too!!!
I even liked The Smiths' cover of it... they did it well.

As for Tiny E, I found it on the Tiny Elvis Homepage, but if anyone wants me
to email them the zip file with it, just email me, and I'll send it out.
Also, let me know if you want the original sounds, or the NG sounds. I'll
send whichever one you want.

Take care, all!

Drew and Ria Rock!

Wow...more stuff in common! I loved GI Blues - that's my favorite Elvis movie.
I even have the soundtrack somewhere....on cassette....totally worn out....

I also love "latest flame" by Elvis AND by the Smiths! I'm going to have that
song in my head the rest of the day!
