hello!
i found this place through kinmunity (under the same name) after seeing a bunch of dragon codes around and was interested in what the heck it was. i didn't know what geek code was and thought it was some obscure language, lol. i guess i was technically right
i am dragonkin, and have been for a while if not since birth, but only really got back into it recently after crazy phantom shifts. i've been more active on kinning forums and found this place!
i'm interested in joining the discord, since im much more active there. i read that it's best to start here before getting the invitation, so, here i am! :P

also, heres my dragon code for funsies

Well, hello!
It's good to see you!
How did you discover who you were, and what do you believe lays ahead on your journey?
What were the nature of your shifts and what did they teach you?
I'd offer you a discord link but I never joined myself... hopefully Lord Flame Stryke or another grey muzzle will pop their snout in and sort that for you ]:=8)

well, it started in 2017. my phantom shifts have always been strong, and for a few other reasons i've always felt "out of place". i thought i was going crazy when i first started having shifts but i came across the otherkinning community and it was a very strong fit. i've always been into dragons and dragon-y things- drawing them, reading their mythology, consuming anything that had even a tiny bit of dragons in it, etc. so it's felt pretty natural, i feel more whole. i think by identifying as otherkin i understand myself more, both my psychological map and my personal form of spirituality i find it useful in. of course, those two things overlap heavily :P

i'm not sure what they teach me. my most prominent ones are always my feet/talons, then wings, then tail, and horns and claws. i'm not fortunate enough to be the type where they phase through things- my wings ache and my feet feel uncomfortable in shoes, or even walking flat footed. if anything, they teach me to be more thankful for the form i'm in currently. i'd hate to be big and constantly bump into things

That's good, and fairly similar to my own journey.
I too am grateful to be who I am today; first world problems are perhaps less potent than first dragon problems- not that I believe anyone here wouldn't relish the challenge.

As for bumping into things, you might get used to it, were it your physical form, faster than you think ;)
