The surrounding scenery is usually overlooked in the center of the
dominance as everydragon has seen it and associates very little with it.
But for those few dragons who still enjoy looking at their surroundings,
there is something new in the trees near by. A rather large pot-bellied
black dragon has been seen hiding behind trees or at least he thinks he's
hiding.
He has been watching the activities taking place around him from his
hiding spot and at the occasional hilarious incident, he would cup his
claws over his mouth and laugh. Every time he notices a dragon looking
his way he runs further away from the center and finds a large rock or
bigger tree than before and hides again. Small chuckles could still be
heard from this new hiding spot.
For the most part he has kept to his 'hiding spots' in the trees.
Finally, when the traffic seems to slow down and only a few dragons are
seen malingering, he wanders out of hiding, heading for the dragon
nearest to his hiding spot.
He stops a couple of yards away and as soon as the dragon looks his
way, he say "um..Hi, my name is Milo, yes sir, that's me, Milo. And I'm a
dragon, see, yes sir, they call my Milo the dragon. Then they said
'Milo, you've been bad', yes sir, they did. So Milo had to leave his
home, see. But Milo just wants to have fun, see, hide-n-seek, yes sir,
fun. And Milo doesn't want to be bad, see, so milo wants to stay here
and play with the other dragons, yes sir, fun fun fun... So Milo wants
to know if it is Ok, see, becuase he doesn't want to have to leave no
more, no sir, just wants to play, fun fun. So can Milo stay, oh,
please, please, please, can Milo stay?"

Shadowmuse looks up at the dragon (hey, when you're only 8' tall,
everydragon is bigger than you!) and smiles her kindest "Welcome to the
Dominance" smile.

"I am not a sir, but thou canst stay as long as thou dost desire. They
call me Shadowmuse, or 'Muse for short." says a tiny blue dragoness with
black wings. "Where do you come from? Thou hast landed in the
Dominance. Home of dragons and friends alike. We like to play, but oft
have other things to do. I am the resident healer, mate of Jester and
friend of many here. To thee I give the most valuable thing I have at
the moment: a warm welcome and invitation to come see my mate and I at
our lair as soon as he is well enough to recieve visitors. Meanwhile,
most of the other dragonkind are at WalksFar and Lillieth's mating party,
if you want to meet some more of us." The little dragoness waves, then
pops out of sight, heading back to her mate at their lair.

"Hi Jes...how ya feeling?" she asks, tenderly brushing his hair out of
his eyes.

"Of course. Everyone is welcome here, for as long as they wish to stay.
A Welcome Dwagon will be by shortly to get you up to speed on things,

"Hmmm, I myself come from the South (well, south of here, anyway) Fear
not of getting in the way, for everyone here is most kind, and I'm sure,
will not mind the entrance of another into the activities. Perhaps we
could get some dragons together and play, once things calm down a bit
here." she offers.

"Well goodness, I shall have to fix that, now won't I?" 'Muse grins as
she pulls two things out of the air in front of her. The first, a dark
blue rose, and the second, a map of the dominance, with all the dragon's
caves marked off on it, "as well as those which stand empty, so that you
can find a lair for yourself." she says, extending the items in both
claws. "And you should DEFINATELY check out the mating party! It's when
2 dragons pledge to spend their lives together. I believe the hoomans
would call it marriage. The parties are FUN! And in this case, thrown
by my best friends. The main name of the thread is escaping me, but it's
got PAR-TEEEE in it. <<Sorry guys>> Do come! You can meet the others!"
she says, gesturing enthusiastically as she gives him directions
according to the magical map he has.

Sensing that tear (hey, healers can do stuff like this!), Sh'muse pops
back out of a portal, and taps Milo on the shoulder, "Hey!" he exclaims

something I said?"

theri grins up. Reaching out for the dragon, with a smile of
utter joy on her face, she waits for him to come out to her. "Yes, you
can stay. You can stay for as long as you wish, and play with whomever
you like, and never ever leave. I promise you this, Milo. Won't you come
with me?" therinth waits, hopefully looking up....

A small black-red dragon approaches Milo, and looks him up and down.
"Hai, you, Milo! What are you doing here, then!" She barks harshly, then
stops and dissolves into gales of laughter. "Of course you can stay!
Though I expect the entire rest of the Dominance has told ye that
already..."
