Back when I was around here regularly, some of us used to swap random lists of words and make up a poem using every word. Maybe you'll be inclined to try it. No restrictions on the type of poem. How about:

sparrows
toast
weave
buzz
split

OOO I'm totally up for this! I think I'll give a limerick a try.

Two sparrows in a puddle,
weave long yarns as they huddle.
And with a toast,
buzz for their host,
and split their little puddle.

I guess I'll come up with some words, then:

bright
glass
speckle
sit
eager

From up high, a sparrow chick's cry,
"Breakfast, mum!" a high pitched whine.
"Toast will do" her quick reply,
Weaving through branches, dodging eyes.
A stuffy retort: "Not sweet enough!",
"Honey must do!" father replies,
"Only so long as I share it with you."
