Anne laughs uncontrolably as Lleu attempts to strike a noble pose. "I
try." Lleu says.

"I was going to cut and paste a larger version of the eye and fill in
some of that empty space with a close-up," Anne mentions. "I'm into
faces and such right now, and BTW, she *never* looks that mean in any
other of her pictures," Lleu looks indignant. "Which is why she wanted
me to post that one," Lleu hides under her wing.

<proud artist grins> "Thank you, thank you." Anne beams with pride that
her picture is apriciated.
"Don't worry, you know I would never attack a fellow feline or raptor
being." Lleu says wile puffing out her chest, hoping to immitate the
picture. She ends up looking rather like a striped peguin holding its
breath. "Hey, I resent that," She says at seeing what Anne is typing.

-Anne, being the typist has many good points <grin>
and Lleu, you'd better stop that, or I'll get a new typist

<LOL!> What a great self-portrait!!! I had no clue Lleu was
so ... so EVILLE looking. <grin> I mean, she looks graceful and
beautiful, but-- that face!!! If I came home from work one day
and found Lleu on top of my apartment, with THAT expression,
I would try to look -very- inconspicuous, and go hide out at
my neighbor's place!! Yeep! } :-o

Or if I looked outside, and there was this big tiger-gryph eyeball
looking into my house...!

Happy K, who doesn't care that she only meets Lleu on this

NG, and Lleu doesn't know where she lives in the first place,
she's STILL locking the front door!

Dreamhunter looks at the self portrait and smiles in admeration. "I
think you did very well, self portraits are VERY HARD to do. I have mine
up just recently, its on my website. Here is the URL or the site, go to
the art section to see the portrait, and if you'd like me to i'll
gladly post yours. And I would also love to have more drawings, and
stories as well, even biographies of your dragon friends, familiars and
otherwise, typists too." Dreamhunter frowns because her page has so very
little on it as of yet.....sigh....."My biography shall be up soon, but
it will take a while for me to finnish....My life is very
complicated..." with these words she turns back to the posts to read
more.....

Thanks for emailing me this post, Anne! My computer <baleful
demonic glare at computer> is FINALLY letting me see your
post on AFD, but it was playing show-Happy-the-posts-and-then
hide-them earlier this evening. The road to insanity is paved with
SERVERS!!

"You try indeed! You're quite a talented artist... have you scanned
anything else? If so, please email me your URL, as I doubt my
<mutter> computer is going to let me look up your old post...
as is, I had to threaten to rearrange its memory banks with a
rather large axe."

"Hmmm... that sounds like a good idea. I haven't seen your
main page, but I can see that as a good banner.... like, 'welcome
to the domain of the imposing tiger-gyph.'"

"Awwww... poor wittle Lleu." Happy, remembering that Lleu could
open a huge can of whoop-ass on her human-sized self, quickly
adds, "but, it's a beautiful picture! I'm glad you told Anne to post
it, you're such a unique and lovely creature!" <smoozing grin>

<LOL!> "Ladies, please."

Lleu and Dreamhunter spoke thus:

Very careful to avoid her own talons, Tser claps. "Beautiful!! You are
a wonderful artiste. Nice to meet a Gryphon... I have a lot of Gryph
friends (osprey gryphs, tiger gryphs, and traditional gryphs) being a
member [and co-admin] of the Gryphon's Guild."

Tser shakes her head in admiration. "Your picture is wonderful!! I
**LOVE** seeing self-portraits."

Tser turns to Dreamhunter. "I visited your Lairpage, and looked at your
self-portrait, and must say, wonderful!! I'm going to go back and sign
the book in a moment. But I truly like your self-portrait and had to
come back and tell you first!!!"

Blushing, Tser says, "Well, I suppose I'll follow the crowd and post my
own self portrait.

"The URL is:

http://www.geocities.com/~tser/tser.gif

for just the picture. You can find my biography, and more, at my
weyrpage,

http://www.geocities.com/~tser/

by clicking on 'Tserisa'. Pretty soon, I'm going to put up a gallery
for pictures of me done by other people. For example, on my graphic
index, there's a picture of Draco done by a friend of mine. She also
drew a picture of me, and as soon as I get it uploaded, I'll start a
gallery. I think its neat to see pictures of me by other people, to see
how they interpret ME."

Tser looks hopefully for others to post their own self-portraits.

Lleu goggles her eyes at this beautiful picture. "Eiyi! Now look at
what comes about after posting my scribbles! I'll have to clean mine up
after seeing all the work that goes into these portraits. That, Tser,
is the most graceful dragon I have seen on ye Wide an Worldly Web.
Truthfully, you have a talent and skill for...what medium is it? And
how big is the original?

-Lleu, in awe of these wonders!
and Anne, definitely impressed, and getting compliments from people
looking over her shoulder...("go away, I'm busy,""don't touch that!")
