Hi.

I have seen several good oil paintings of Dragonlance.
(Like the ones by Larry Elmore).

The ones that I find on the net by Elmore is not as good as the ones on
my paperback-editions of the Chronicles and Legends, also by Elmore.

I find it weird that they're not on his official website either.

My paperback versions are in Norwegian. The pictures is signed by
Elmore, and they look like his style.

But, the reason I post this, is the following question:

Does anyone have good oil paintings (I don't mean originals, but
pictures on the net, like JPG, you know) of the following characters:

Tanis
Caramon
Raistlin (especially him)
Flint (I only have one bad one of him)
Tasslehoff (only have one of him too)
Riverwind
Goldmoon
Sturm

Last but not least: Galan Dracos. Haven't found pictures of him
anywhere. Not even by amateurs.

If you don't know of any good oil paintings of the characters mentioned
above, you can also tip me of drawings etc, as long as their big, and
good quality.

Thanks in advance,

After Elmore was paid for the paintings, doesn't TSR own the originals
for the covers? If Elmore doesn't own them, he can't post the images.

Anyone know where ownership resides?

TSR owns the right to use those pictures for their
books/calendars/whatever, but it doesn't mean they own the actual oil
paintings. I believe Elmore has sold a couple of the Dragonlance oil
paintings to the authors themselves. Ownership of the painting does not
mean ownership of the right to use the picture for publication, or vice
versa.
