Anyway, to your question: DBZ was much bigger for much longer than Pokemon
will ever be in most of the rest of the world during its original run.
However, because it has been butchered to death in this country, and because
of this country's paranoid attitude toward television violence and off-color
humor, DBZ will never be as big as the much more "acceptable" Pokemon.

I don't even LIKE it anymore, but...JEEZ! You still spelled it wrong!
POKEMON!!!
P O K E M O N!!!!!!!!
It's short for "Pocket Monsters"!
Pokemon!
Not "Pokeyman", not "Pokeman"...
POKEMON!
As I said, I don't even like it anymore, but this just bugs me...

I didn't read the original post, generally avoiding OT subjects (and for
good reason--see the Sailormoon thread for how long-winded I can get on OT
threads), but reading this, and hearing the person apparently made this
horrendous spelling gaffe twice...sheesh.
How could anyone possibly misspell Pokemon? I mean, considering that the
title is--oh--everyfuckingwhere you look? You either have to be a complete
idiot, or mispelling it on purpose...I can't tell which this guy is.
I'm like Mirai Matt...my love for Pokemon has diminished--not totally, but
an incredible amount--and stuff like this still annoys the hell out of me.

Hells... it was endorsed by the _pope_.
