Hi guys,

I'm confused about something. I may have already asked this, but I don't
remember the response, so here goes again.

OK... The final two episodes of the Garlic Jr. battle were shown on the
last Saturday in May on Rising Sun. That (I think) officially ended
Season 3. The next week, they started Garlic over (if I remember
correctly). So my question is, was "Krillin's Proposal" ever aired at
some other time during the summer? Because I know it appears on the last
Garlic Jr. tape, so it seems that that would technically make it a part
of the Garlic Jr. Saga, and therefore Season 3. Now, today on Toonami,
they skipped two episodes of the Garlic battle, and went straight to the
last two, which means that Monday will bring them up to "Krillin's
Proposal." So is THAT going to be the official first episode of Season
4, or is it just going to be skipped? I ask this because I don't have
that one on tape yet, and several of you seem to have seen it. But I'm
not sure if you just saw the video or what.

Boy, it sure would suck to start the new season with this episode... I
personally rather like it, but it's a TERRIBLE place to begin. The one
after it is perfect, because it's all about Gohan wondering where his
dad is, Freeza arriving on Earth, etc. "Krillin's Proposal" is good as a
throwaway "last episode of the season" type of thing because it's just
kind of a fluffy little episode that doesn't advance the plot in any way
whatsoever. But it would TOTALLY suck as a season opener for those very
same reasons, and it will just frustrate people waiting for a new story
arc to begin.

Anyway, has it been aired yet or what? I'd also just like to know so I
can be sure to get the correct original airdate for my site.

<snip - You are a bit long winded. We love you anyway>

Today (Friday), CN aired 3 episodes. The last episode they aired was
Krillin's Proposal.

Are you sure they didn't show "Krillin's Proposal" yesterday? I dozed off
during the episode with the final battle, but I seem to recall that they
listed 4 episodes of DBZ to be shown yesterday afternoon, including one
pre-empting Gundam Wing, and the only episode after the one where Gohan
blows up the Makkyo Star is Krillin's Proposal...

Yeah, Friday they played Dragonball Z on Cartoon Network from 4 until 6.
After all of this, Garlic Jr. Saga officially ending with Klylin's Proposal.
(Sorry, I don't like spelling it FUNi's way.) Starting September 4th,
Dragonball will only be on at 5:00 like it was before. I checked about this
on my cable preview guide.

P.S. - Anyone noticed they kind of give TOO much away to the uneducated
viewers of Dragonball Z with the one trailer that has Juurokugou,
Juunanagou, Juuhachigou, Juukugou, Dr. Gero, Vegita going Super Saiya-jin,
and Goku blocking Marai Trunk's sword attack with one finger? (If I
misspelled any of the Androids' names, I am sorry, and correct me.)

...no offense, but the spelling "Klylin" is more of an eyesore than FUNi's
spelling...

Nope, because they didn't explain who any of them were...

And it's "Mirai" :)

Not to mention that if he wanted to be a purist, he could have atleast used the
Japanese title for the episode.

On YTV (Canada) they showed "Krillen's Proposal."
This was kind of a fun note to end the season off
on. And YTV has guaraunteed on their site that
the episode shown Monday will be "Frieza's
Counterattack." I'm pretty sure CN will do the
same. On another note, I pray that season 4 will
be better than the travesty that is season 3. If
not, I'll only watch the rest of the Cell Saga
just to see Juunana-gou (because he's just cool)
and see how FUNimation handles the SSJ2 Gohan
scene.

Season 4, to date, HAS been far superior to season 3. The dialogue is better
and less full of the corny attempts at humor that characterized earlier
seasons. New voices are better...Kold and Juukyuugou got a raw deal, but
Trunks, Gero, Juunanagou, Juuhachigou, and Juurokugou all got EXCELLENT
voices. I'm rather interested in hearing Cell's voice now...

FUNi has, remember, said that Cell will have an insectlike voice at first,
which will gradually change to a normal voice as he attains perfect form. I
find this to be interesting, and not much of a deviation, since in Japan,
Cell's imperfect form was distinguished vocally (booeeee)...

Ok, thank you for correcting Mirai, my mistake. Would you like me to spell
it Kuririn instead then? Ok, they didn't say who the people were, but
showing Vegita going Super Saiya-jin kind of does spoil things for the
uneducated viewers don't you think?
