Hoy ppl!

in 2-day's showings of DBZ the 2nd eps. was movie no. 3!

I really didnt think that they would bother, just use parts of movie
no. 1 & 7 for the opener and leave be.

my only nit-pick is they've renamed Hiya-Dragon into "Icarus"
YUCK!!

I wonder wat other movie they'll use?

anyone know?

Was that what the hell that was? I was really confused about this one. Of
course I'm confused why the local station does the eps 2 hours apart rather
than have a solid hour of DBZ. So I take it the movie is after the Freeza
stuff chronologically.

No. The movies DO NOT FIT in the chronology at all, no matter how
manfully you try. The only one that comes even CLOSE to fitting is Movie
1; in fact, they did a sequel season to Movie 1. Chronologically it fits
just before the beginning of DBZ, the series, but there are a couple
problems -- the major one being that Gohan shows off his power in the
movie, when by the reactions of people in the series he'd never shown
any such power before Raditz showed up. The others all have at least
that large a contradiction in them. Movie 2: Goku uses the Genki Dama,
which was taught to him by Kaiyo-Sama; but there wasn't any TIME for
this adventure -- Goku came back from Heaven, fought Vegita, healed up,
and left for Namek right away. Movie 3: If this takes place AFTER
Freezer, Goku should've gone Super-Saiyajin and blown poor ol'
Talis/Taresu into atoms; if it takes place before, we have the same
objection as to movie 2. Same holds for movie 4. Movie 5 & 6 have a
number of flaws of timing and age of characters. And so on.

If they MUST adapt the movies, I hope they do Movie 2, 5, and 6.
