Dende in episode 291

Dende. He isn't really any taller after uh... 10 years since Buu died.
That's strange. Piccolo was alreayd at his 7ft plus height when he went to
Namek.
How old was Piccolo then?? I'd say he was only 11 years old. Dende is at
least that, and he is still short, not even Goku's height yet. What does
Popo feed him (give him to drink) ?
Does anyone else find this strange.
Iexpected Dende and Piccolo to kinda look like twins by the end of DBZ; like
Goku to Gohan.
Oh well.

Yes, the current Piccolo is only about 11, but the spawn of the
original Piccolo Diamioh (sp?) varied greatly in size and shape.
Piccolo may have been 'generated' differently from the ways that the
Nameks normally reproduce. Regular Nameks may just grow very slowly
(Saichorou (sp?) was both old, and huge).

I am assuming Viahutuso wrote that parenthetical expressly to the end
of preventing that sort of confusion.
