Newest Viz issue of DB

However, it seems that now Viz is going out of its way to cover up his
privates. There is an oddly-shaped word balloon covering him in one panel,
and in another, it's simply not drawn. Gokuu looks like a Ken doll.
Now, let's not go thinking that I'm looking for this stuff. Enough of you
complain about FUNimation's rocks and shrubs. It's just that Viz has never
had a problem censoring any of DB or DBZ in the past, and it would reeeeally
piss me off some goddamn moral group is going to start making them censor
stuff.
Any thoughts?

be extremely disappointed with Viz. Up until now they have had a perfect
record of keeping Dragonball completely uncensored.
I know for a fact that Dragonball, but not Dragonball Z, was pulled from
Toys R Us shelves specifically because of the nudity. Parents complained
about it, and also the fact that it tied in with a television show where
there was no nudity. Perhaps, if what you say is true, Viz is self-censoring
in an effort to get back on TRU shelves. Again, I would be extremely
disappointed.
Also, do you happen to have the original manga to go by? I hope someone who
does can ring in on this. If censoring is indeed taking place, it means that
it has found its way into what was once thought to be the only bastion of
pure DBZ in the country. It would be a shame.

I've got the manga on my computer. I checked out Volume 5, Chapter 4, and it
looks like Viz has started censoring.
This, to be blunt, sucks.

This is an extreme disappointment to me. I don't know about the rest of
you but if viz does that again I'm going to cancel my subscription and
stop buying the manga altogether.
