Last of the new episodes will be shown on Thursday, December 28th, with

Continuing the Cell's demise theme......
I missed the original Jap. ep of Cell's destruction, but in the recap
during the following ep, it showed Gohan throwing another Kamehameha
wave (one-armed mind you) and destroying Cell. However....
During the K. wave, Cell is busy fending off Gohan's wave when he
notices Vegeta behind him blasting him with his Final Flash (I'm
assuming). Anyway, I never read this before in any of the summaries
and I'm just wondering....was it Gohan that finished Cell or was it
Gohan AND Vegeta that finally did it.
I hate to see Cell go. He really was one of the better DBZ villains.

Vejita's attack doesn't really do any damage, but I would say it at
least distracted Cell and possibly gave Gohan the edge he needed to
over-power his Kamehameha.
> I hate to see Cell go. He really was one of the better DBZ villains.
*nods* I agree, he's definitely my favorite, though I liked Vejita in
his villain days too. I've read the manga and find Fat Buu amusing, but
I really don't care for his later forms. Cell gets the best villain
award, IMO, though the future androids are pretty brutal too.:)
Are you sure about this?
When Cartoon Network was advertising the upcoming new episodes of DBZ, they
specifically said that they had 77 (seventy-seven) new episodes to show. I've
been taping them, four to a tape, and I certainly don't have 20 new tapes yet,
even counting the one tape I accidentally overwrote.
Yeah, Vegeta in the Sai-jin and Namek sagas was great. His battle with
the Ginyu force was classic. I like how after the Namek saga, when
Goku was still in space, Vegeta is going to all these other planets
just blowing people away because he can't find Goku! Classic!
The Cell and android sagas were just genius. Just think of the
ultimate fighters driven to just conquer everything. Not unlike most
villians, but they had so much more personality than Radditz, Freiza,
etc. I think the reason why everyone likes Vegeta so much is that he's
so involved in the DBZ storyline, so we see him so much. And Cell's
design, his larvae form, his imperfect forms, etc. kept up the suspense
even though you knew the outcome. Once again, I'll hate to see the end
of this saga.
As for the Buu saga, I haven't seen any of the eps yet, but from what
I've read it all seems pretty far out. I'm not sure how much I'll like
it from a storyline point, but I'll be interested to see how powerful
everyone becomes.

Maybe they're counting the budokai in heaven filler?
(Can't think of the name of it at the moment, though...)
