It's okay. That's it. Okay.
However, the ending of the book is quite possibly the most depressing
thing of all time. You would have to have a heart of granite to not
have your day utterly ruined by how sad it is. Which is awful, because
the whole point of the book was to end the series on a more upbeat
note, not one that puts Mostly Harmless' ending to a depressing shame.

Wow. The only thing I could add is 'spoiler alert' but (a) I'm not sure
"the ending is too depressing" qualifies as a spoiler and (b) after
reading this post now I'm depressed to care.
I guess I'll go find some tea...
