Hiya. Just bought the HHGTTG radio series on a CD. (This one...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0563477024/202-6567412-6967064 )

However, the CD in the sleve labeled episodes 1&2, with "Primary Phase CD1"
on the CD itself, instead of holding the first two episodes, had a
documentary, a complete duplicate of CD7. CD2 was similarly labeled for
episodes 3&4, but had a copy of the interview (CD8) instead.

So I have two copies of the documentary and interview, but I'm missing the
first four episodes.

Needless to say, I'll be seeking a replacement. Has anyone else had the
same problem?

Perhaps I have a rare misprint and it's incredibly valuable!?

Bill, well, misprinted stamps are valuable.

The address in the reply to header is correct, but I'll
read it quicker if you drop the word "usenet".

Five wild Event Maelstroms swirled in vicious storms of unreason and
Bill Godfrey spewed up:

This seesm to be a common problem with BBC Audiobooks! I had the
complete set of books on CD where one disc was duplicated and another
missing.
I mailed the address on the disc and got them changed.

Life - Quite interesting in parts but no substitute for the real thing.
