Entry: Reason.

When, as hitchhikers, you haggle in a flea market or negotiate a
large bar bill you will undoubtedly hear the phrase "be reasonable",
accompanied by such caveats as "that's less that it cost me" or "it's
more than my job's worth".
Reason, as it turns out, it a tricky business, full of
philosophical potholes, misnomers, and logical dead ends that have
resulted in major disagreements in every walk of life, death and every
state in between.
The very statement "be reasonable" is in fact not what it seems.
The whole object of fiscal wrangling is, by its very nature, bereft of
reasonableness as each side wants to turn a profit, which can be a
very short argument especially if the item you have recently purchased
and are refusing to pay for came in an interesting bottle with a
beetle in it and is currently sloshing around in your intestines and
giving you a warm fuzzy feeling that you have a sneaking suspicion
won't last for very much longer.
