You know, I hate to say it, but I actually kind of respect her for this. You
don't hear of many people in Hollywood taking a stand on something that'll in
all likelyhood get them mocked in the press. Good for her.

I agree. WTF IS her problem? I have watched ELR about 5 times and seen far
more raunchier jokes and innuendos on there than anything she's referring to
on the AMA's. And they come on at 8 too! I really love Raymond, Brad, Peter
and Doris, but I will not go out my way to watch ELR for one
reason.......Patricia. She is SUCH a bitch on the show (and quite obviously
in real life) that spending 30 mins listening to her rant, whine, and gripe
at poor Ray is like fingernails on a chalkboard. You can play a
"long-suffering" sitcom wife without coming off as such a complete bitch.
She needs to take lessons from Patricia Richardson, Tim's TV wife on Home
Improvement. Pat R. had it down to a science. She could gripe at Tim about
something and still remain likable and funny. Instead of calling it
Everybody Loves Raymond, I'd rename it more appropriately Everybody Hates
Debra.
