I meean he says he's retiring, from the show, then a couple
years later he has a similar show...He could stayed on the D&M
gravytrain, and Mike and Rob, would have to scramble for new
gigs...Don knows Mike isn't as rich as him, due to divorce/child
support, and failed ventures. Don has tones of cash, he could've gone
a few more years with D&M, so Mike and Rob would be making more money.

It just seems like a dick move to the whole crew, A giant Fuck You!

If Don was ritired, and relaxing, b/c he was burned out from the show,
it wouldnt look as bad, but clearly he still has the radio comedy bug,
and he chose to do the exact show, with a new crew. Seems a little
selfish. Clearly there's some issues Don has with Mike.

The show was past its peak in the DC market, I think. Don could have
stayed but most of the money to be made, he already had. And between
Bart going to college and Freda dying, he probably felt like a single
guy, not tied to the area.

In hindsight it was a shrewd move. WJFK changed their format while
lying to Mike and saying his job was safe.

At least Mike is once again on the radio here in DC. Where's Buzz? I
miss him.

Hey, if you want to have some fun, go to Facebook and "like"
EITMonline (Elliot in the Morning). Then post something mentioning
Flounder on their page. Flounder was their high-profile producer
until a recent stealth firing. They never addressed why he's gone.
See how long your post stays up before they censor it.
