Hey Guys,
Anyone remember the last feud between Imus and Stern, when Stern called in to Imus show, and threatened to go public with a story about one of Imus' daughters with an old producer that Imus had back in the 80's or so, named Lyndon?? and Al Rosenberg? Stern demanded a 24 hour apology by Imus, or he'd tell the stories publicly. It didn't scare Imus at all....in fact Imus said, bring it on! I'll get as dirty as you wanna get! And Imus acknowledged that Stern had him on the thing about Lyndon & Al Rosenberg?? I never heard anything about that in the past. Imus went on further with Bernie, and did a "Great Skit" about Howards then girlfriend Beth O. with a Bernie (Jayson Williams) prank call, was funny as hell. And then Stern backed off, and threatened to sue Imus, and asked Mel to fire Imus, etc.....but nothing happened. Since then, Stern has left Imus alone! And there is no doubt that Imus is the Original "Shock Jock" that Stern copied from, and Stern will never admit that, and he seems to really resent Imus for that reason. Does anyone know what it was that happened with Imus daughter, and the Lyndon-Rosenberg Story?? Thanks, Ray!!

now. Howard is doing quite nicely w/ the NBC gig and raking in $$ via
the satellite show. Imus is over now at Cumulus and, frankly, they are
no longer after the same audience.

While I have and always will be a fan of Imus
over Stern, I fully respected and would still
fight for Howard's right to broadcast over
terrestrial radio. It was the Bush Admin that
got him booted off AM/FM in the first place!

Howard has never gone in depth, but the daughter of Imus' in question has a deep hatred for her father. She seems like a level headed person. One can only assume that he treated her horribly. My opinion is, she was abused by someone and her father (Imus) did nothing about it. 98% sure that's the deal.
