I'm still sorting through all of the fawning articles about her. She sounds like a perfectly fine lady but good grief. Do a search for "the world mourns".
I do like the top picture in this one.
<https://www.insider.com/photos-queen-elizabeth-mechanic-world-war-ii-2020-4>. It looks like someone had the sense to put a jack under the vehicle.

Yes, I agree. You can’t get away from the coverage unless you really turn
everything off. And her dysfunctional family seems to be dominating her own
demise. This week will be even more dramatic.

It is somewhat interesting to learn things about someone you did not
know before when they die. I was sort of surprised about how opulent
she lived not knowing about Balmoral. I had seen Buckingham palace and
Windsor castle and Balmoral makes it excessive.

So far Charles appears to have nicely taken up the job.

Personally, believing in lesser government, I think we also need lesser
monarchies.

Nope, I never heard of Balmoral either. I think there are others too. Lots
of race baiters coming out of the woodwork today too. That is to be
expected. They gotta get their kicks in.

I heard someone talking about reparations. The English owe someone
something. England abolished slavery in 1833 a couple decades before the
U.S. did.

I got to visit one little place years ago.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Howard

The family was still living there in one wing and the rest of the place
was open to the public. Impossible to imagine that anyone would need
more than this.

That’s quite the place. They all seem to be rather large. I’ve heard the
royals consider Buckingham Palace as more of a business place than a home.
😆

It is a big tourist attraction bringing people to London to see things
like the changing of the guard. Windsor also attracts tourists but
maybe Balmoral is isolated from the crowds. Old palace, the Tower of
London is open and a big attraction to tourists.

Yeah, but. I did see the article discussing layoffs. Up to 100 people might be lookin for work.
