I quit listening when Imus was finished. I never would've pictured Sid basically sitting in Imus chair.

It wasn't Imus's plan either. I think he was pushing for Opie in the morning, or
a sports talk format for the 6-10am day part.

I still listen on line to Sid and friends in the morning. He appears to
have been very successful in the NYC area which is quite big. He will
never get a national audience but is doing great where he is.

As much as we all liked Imus, it does leak out on occasion as to how
much of a self centered prick he was.

Sid is a legend in his own mind. The show is full of "smoking hot wife, smarter than yours kids and who I met or known and they are all my friends"

With Imus, that was entertaining, with Sid, it just plain tedious. A music station is #1 in NYC, Sid is #11 if you include it, number 1 in all the talkers. I listen elsewhere in the morning.

I agree with your comments on Sid but still listen as it is still
interesting compared to something else I might watch or listen to in
that time frame.
