What is this "Right Now" Traffic with Jeff McKay?

Guy sounds so jacked up I can't STAND it!

I hope it's just a bad dream, Deb's just on vacation, and we'll be back to normal monday Jan 7th.

She's gone for good. Cumulus radio got rid of "On Time Traffic" which
was about a minute of traffic and two minutes of commercials. Debbie
was OK once you got used to that voice, but she had too many
commercial reads during the traffic.

It always sounded like it was Jennifer's time of the month. I think
she was a weather channel lady doing NY weather out of Atlanta
pretending she was in NY. However she was better than the taped
reports from "Dr." Bill Evans.

falling-out with Imus.

As for "On Time" and "Right Now" traffic - are those the names of the traffic providers?

DuHaime probably couldn't help it - jamming in those mentions after traffic was probably part of the job.

I too, find her voice very annoying/nasal sounding, when rarely on ABC Morning TV filling in for Heather O'Rourke. I hope ABC finds someone better for when Heather is on vacation. Looks like Debbie had a makeover of a sort recently.

Duhaime's voice is a fresh cup of regular coffee while McKay's is a double-espresso! Makes me feel nervous everytime I hear his segment.

'thekma...'. In reply: Im not quoting you as you replied right above me, but once again, now bluntly regarding Ms. Duhaime on ABC TV not radio: She is so beneath Heather O'Rourke I can't describe it. She tries real hard BUT her voice goes through me and many others I know that watch. Her appearance is better than it was, probably plastics, a wig/extensions and excellent make up artists and hair stylists @ ABC/NewYork Morning Television. She doesn't hold a candle to Ms. O'Rourke who is smooth, dressed beautifully yet professional and doesn't seem to need much make up. Heather is the 'Girl Next Door' plus. Debbie sounds as if she has a clothespin on her nose and has a whiney voice shudder. She has a messy appearance and Voice! Maybe the voice of hers is caused by bad yearly allergies, but when I hear Debbie's voice I immediately change to FOX 5, CBS 2 or NBC 4. It literally goes through me like nails on a chalkboard! I don't know the person on the Don Imus radio show but if she's better, he had to be horrible. On a 0 - 10 scale, I rate her a 0 accurately. I wish she was capable of filling in for O'Rourke but Duhaime is not capable in my humble opinion.

I feel bad knocking someone but ABC will lose me to Fox 5's morning TV broadcast for good along with many others. :(

Jeff McKay is better than Debbie Duhaime in delivering the traffic. He gives a real traffic report while Duhaime's on Imus was a traffic blurb wrapped around commercials. She would start off saying this traffic report is brought to you by bla bla bla, then give a useless 15 second traffic report ("a car went right off the road!") then say this traffic report was brought to you by a different sponsor (so the report wasn't really brought to us by the first sponsor?).

Both have terrible radio voices. Duhaime's was grating and Mckay's soft voice is at the opposite spectrum.

Heather o'Rourke dresses beautifully? Your kidding right? While I'm sure she is one of the best dressed people in walmart when she goes shopping, for a new york market she just looks like a bupkin.

Couldn't agree more. While very likable, and a possessing a good voice, Heather O'Rourke needs a stylist. She dresses horribly! When she is next to her colleagues it is even more noticeable. I keep waiting for one of the ABC brass to order a total make over for her.
