Now everyone will know the pleasures of a cheese steak!
When Stang visits is issue in LA, he can finally try thier "Bobbie"
Sandwich!
At Fred Meyer (a NW chain, subsidiary of Krogers, so you might find it there
as well), they have super thin sliced real steaks for a few bucks a pound.
I've made true Philly cheesesteaks with it, it was to die for. Not like what
most folks have to settle on with shitty ground and formed Steak'ums. Sure,
since it's real steak, you have to chew a little more, but at least it
tastes real.
Their Turkey Sandwhich is called a "Bobbie".
hehehehehehhehe
Well,we''ll have to see. Cheesesteaks have had a hard time taking a
foothold out here in SoCal. They will flare up for a few years or so,
then people lose interest.
But if this guy is doing it as we are COMING OUT of an Economic
Depression, it might fly. Almost all the last attempts started at the
end of "Good Times" and then tanked with the Economy.
The major one, the major attempt to take root, being in the early
1990s, and with the end of the cold war the Defense Industry Collapsed
so hard even JACK IN THE BOX shops were on the verge of closing down.
