Victoria Jackson was indeed there. Albert Brooks wasn't, but his short
films got a longish sampling.
Many alumni didn't care to come because they'd have had to pay their
own way -- lodging, transportation and so on. NBC was covering
nothing, except for the big names.
The special didn't do anything for the show's writers, and indeed made
a joke of it. That lack would have been fair game for this kind of
criticism.

She HATES doing Pat. Cf. her monologue show, God Said, HA!

Uh ... the inclusion of Lovitz at the end was a joke, yes? To lighten
the mood of the room? There was nothing distasteful about it.
Bluntly, this review lacks substance.
