"Everyone knows you're mentally ill" is a direct quote from one of the
ladies in the cube area spoken about someone who was clearly told in writing
that they were released from an assignment due to changes in work by the
client company. Another one said "you're disruptive", but the latter does
not suggest a medical condition while the former does. Both of those quotes
were from ladies "hiding" in their cube area, but without any courage to say
the same things directly to the person.

Personally attacking someone laid off? Wow, that's really, um,
"professional". By the way, how's that new project with all the firmware
assert errors and printer failure errors during the development process
working out?

Anyway, the HP site involved was 16399 West Bernardo Drive, Bldg 66, San
Diego, CA, 92127. HP can use their internal process to find out who it was
and act against them with a Standards Of Business Conduct violation, but
someone had to post that here as well. Whistle-blowing, so to speak. Once on
Usenet, it requires a court order to remove it from a Google archive. I am
not aware of any process yet to remove it from the German based archive
NNSeek.

Crossposted to the relevant comp.sys.hp.* newsgroups so customers can see
how at least a very small minority number of employees denigrate someone
else after they received a layoff notice. That said, this is NOT at all
representative of the majority of the HP employees, but the ones involved
needed to be called out, and hopefully their SOBC violation will result in
their termination of employment.
